What We're About
We're a community buying club that connects members with locally sourced goods at wholesale prices, supporting local vendors while making quality food accessible.
Our members share a passion for good food: raw sheep's milk cheese, grass-fed beef, seasonal produce, and more. Whether you're cooking for a crowd or just yourself, we come together to shop well and eat well.
Lincoln Park Co-op is a non-profit cooperative. Everyone is welcome regardless of background or dietary preference.
How It Works
We run 3–4 shops per year. Each member is assigned to a team responsible for curating products for the event. Here's what that looks like from start to finish.
Own a vendor
Each member is responsible for a specific vendor (for example, Publican Quality Meats). You'll work directly with that vendor to select products, agree on quantities, and schedule their delivery or pickup date for the shop.
Curate with the group in mind
Look at what's sold well in past shops, but don't be afraid to try something new. Think about variety, portion sizes, and what will genuinely excite the group. You're buying on behalf of everyone, so buy like it.
Run the day-of shop
On shop day, receive your vendor's delivery at the location, organize the products for easy browsing, and divide them into reasonable individual quantities. At the end, help clean up and tear everything down.
We're all in this together
The whole group is expected to help with setup and teardown, not just the vendor leads. This is a co-op: we all own this experience together.
